Special Education Records Destruction

On April 30, 2026 Alpena School District will destroy Special Education records of students who graduated, moved or were dismissed from Special Education services in the district on or before 5/30/2020. This process is carried out in compliance with federal and state laws. Students, parents and/or guardians may obtain any data from folders prior to April 30, 2026,  by contacting the high school or elementary offices.
