Gifted and Talented Program 

The Alpena School District has a long history of commitment to excellence. We are committed to helping every student meet his/her full potential. The district recognizes and supports the concept of differentiated curriculum for students identified and placed in the gifted and talented program.
 

Extension of the depth and complexity of the learning experience is accomplished by promoting higher order thinking skills, critical and creative problem solving skills, and research skills.
